We are so very proud of our competition members who participated at Adrenaline Dance Competition and Convention! All of our numbers were so great! And the judges agreed! We took 9 numbers, and received 7 gold awards and 2 high silver awards! Then, to top off the weekend, 3 of our dancers received scholarships. A very special congrats to Cassie Delgado, Rachel Finkel, and Hannah Niskar! We are so proud of all of you and cannot wait to see how well we do at the next competition!!! You go girls!!!

Well…the wait is FINALLY over! This Monday is the premiere of Smash on NBC! Make sure you tune in to see this amazing show full of AMAZING choreography by none other than our own Josh Bergasse! We are all so proud of you and we can’t wait to see the rest of the season! Tune in Monday at 10:00 pm on NBC. We all will be glued to the TV!!!

Everyone here at Annette and Company is VERY excited about this upcoming year! With competition right around the corner, our chorus members are dancing up a storm! We are very proud of them already and cannot wait to see them up on stage! Our teachers are so very excited to begin working on recital choreography. We already know this show we’ll be one of our best ever! Just wait, 2012 is going to be a year to remember!!!

With the new year rapidly approaching, we are so excited for what happens next!!! With the excitement of recitals and costumes approaching, we are so very happy to have our new staff members, Maria and Aaron, bring such a great vibe to add to our already amazing staff! We can’t wait to see how far our students will grow this year!!!

With the new season right around the corner, we wanted to let everyone know about our new classes for the fall! We have added new beginner teen and adult hip hop classes, contemporary classes, junior lyrical classes, and acro classes. Spots are filling up fast, call the studio for more information!

Dancers! Please remember to wear proper ballet attire to the intensive. You will be taking ballet every day, and Xavier wants all dancers in black leotards, pink tights, pink shoes, and hair pulled neatly back into a bun. You can bring a change of clothes with you, if you would prefer optional attire for your other classes. Please do not forget, let’s start this season off right!

With September right around the corner, we’re are busy getting ready to start the season. Confirmation packets will be mailed out the week of August 22nd. The packets will include: our welcome letter, classes that you are registered for, and our studio calendar. For any additional information, contact the studio!

We are very excited to announce that we are starting Annette and Company’s first ever Mini Chorus! This brand new group is for jazz dancers ages 7 to 9. It will be the perfect introduction into the world competition. Auditions will be held in September, dates and times will be posted soon. If you are interested in this program, or would like more information, please call the studio!

With the fall season rapidly approaching, it’s time for chorus and tapline auditions! Auditions will be held on Wednesday, August 24th, after the intensive. Jazz chorus auditions will be from 5 pm to 6 pm, tapline auditions from 6 pm to 7 pm, and hip hop chorus auditions from 7 pm to 8 pm. In order to audition for chorus, you must be enrolled in all the required classes before the audition. See ya soon!
