F.X. Corcoran
Xavier started his dance training with Pennsylvania Ballet, later receiving a full scholarship with American Ballet Theatre. By age sixteen, he was dancing professionally with Pennsylvania Ballet, and was the youngest student ever to be asked to perform with the company. He has danced with Ballet Arizona, touring with them to South America to perform in LaCaracas Festival. He continued touring with Ballet Arizona in Canada and all over the western United States.
Xavier changed his direction and turned to other types of dance. He performed at the Sundance Theater Company under the direction of Robert Redford, toured with the Scottish Dance Company of Canada and was invited to perform in Scotland at the Edinburgh Playhouse in Rhythm of the Celts. After a great run of shows, Xavier was invited back for a taping with PBS.
Xavier moved to Michigan in 2000 and is now putting all his energy and training into the education of dance.
